Women On The Lead: True Warriors In The Fight Against Corona virus
It is the strength and expertise that makes a woman
more powerful face the difficulty. Whether it is a struggle in the front, a
domestic issue or a health crisis, every woman has the strength and capability
to deal with the situation. It needs a spark and opportunity. Even in the
21st-century, women have to face issues regarding inequality, biased attitude,
employment, and education. Every day men forget that women are an essential section
of society. They have to learn that this fact cannot be denied by any means
says Karthikeya Rupakula.
At present, every country is struggling with
Coronavirus infection, its seriousness, rising deaths and lack of vaccine. But
the female gender stands more robust and poignant in the frontline. In every
part of the world women and men, are fighting hard with their capabilities and
skills to fight this pandemic situation. But a major role is played by the
women. They have emerged as the hero in this bio war-like situation that is
brought in the world from the city of Wuhan in China.
Karthikeya says that women need just an inclusion and
an opportunity. Women have the spirit and determination to find a better
solution. Sooner or later the pre-occupied state of mind of the egocentric men
will understand the need and place of women in their lives and society. It is a
truth that educated women can bring huge changes in a family than any men can
do. But the question remains the same way she has to prove her worth now and
then? Just because she has to convince others and establish her identity.
Recently, India’s Women Football team captain Bala
Devi joined hands with AFC in an awareness campaign against the Coronavirus
pandemic. She is urging everyone to stay at home and practice social distancing
as it is the only available means to deal with this deadly disease. She is a
leading name in the video campaign of AFC’s #BreakTheChain asking everyone to
be at home and make the sacrifices. Further, Karthikeya Rupakula shares another impactful news
from Srinagar, Jammu, here women in small groups are helping in enforcing the
lockdown with sticks in their hands and politely requesting the violators to go
back to their homes.
Meanwhile, a significant role is played by scientists,
doctors, IAS officers, police staff, nurses and others in battling this
devastating situation. These women are operating tirelessly at the forefront to
manage every challenge. While working round the clock, they want to ensure the
stable functioning of everything. and
give their best in administration, diagnosis, prevention, and cure.
Starting with Beela Rajesh, the health secretary of
Tamil Nadu has been proactively engaged with citizens through her department
and Twitter. Dr. Priya Abraham, director of the National Institute of Virology,
Pune has made a meaningful breakthrough by isolating the dangerous COVID-19.
Dr. Renu Swarup, secretary, Department of Biotechnology, is examining the
records to find a vaccine. Dr. Nivedita Gupta, senior scientist at ICMR is
diligently involved in devising the treatment and testing standards. There are
many more on the list who are dedicatedly operating to make things work
perfectly. Karthikeya Rupakula acknowledges that it is the true testimony of women
empowerment. As India is fighting it back with the leading women on their
backs, it feels immense pride.
Karthikeya is a well-wisher and believer in doing good for women with
skills to handle finance and management. At present, he is a consulting CFO and
COO at Rupakula and Partners.
